Wow, even as the one who suggested this format, I never expected the Bonus challenge to be half this popular! Ok, here are my thoughts:

I feel that in a direct matchup, this site's current voter makeup is 55p Nintendo, 45p Square. (Had Crono made the BR I'd have set that at 50/50, but I think Samus tips the scales to N). Snake/Konami stands on its own, so I'm giving him credit for 13.5p of the overall vote. That leaves 86.5p to split between Nintendo and Square. Cloud's 51.89p on Seph back in 2003 shows how well he does in an all-Square battle, so I gave him and Seph credit for that ratio. For Samus vs the Kings of Nintendo SFF, I used Metroid's pathetic percentage against Zelda, then added a few percentage points to account for her additional SSB popularity. The remaining Nintendo vote split is based on Link's 62.53p on Mario in the 02 Final. And that gives us

Link - 23.88%
Cloud - 20.20%
Sephiroth - 18.73%
Mario - 14.31%
Snake - 13.50%
Samus - 9.38%
