Ngamer64 holds the distinction of being the only person to ever finish the top 10 while missing a match. In 2003, Ngamer finished 8th despite handing his opponents about a 40 point handicap by failing to predict Mario vs Shadow. Because the 2003 Oracle Challenge only ran for 31 matches, skipping one match there would be equivalent to skipping 2 matches in a full contest! Despite the 40 point handicap, he still managed to beat out more than half of the people who predicted all 31 matches. If he hadn't missed any matches, he would have finished 3rd in SC2k3, 8th in SpC2k4 and 5th in SC2k4. His actual record his excellent, but his potential record is astonishing.

In 2004, ps2rulezzz came out of nowhere to finish 6th in SpC2k4, and outdid himself by finishing 3rd in SC2k4. Everyone expected big things from him in SpC2k5, but he surprised us once again by completely failing to show up. It looked like ps2rulezzz might have gone the way of Bananaquest until he appeared less than 36 hours before contest time with his predictions. ps2rulezzz has two top ten finishes and the second highest lifetime average with 44.77 points, trailing only Bananaquest. Will he be able to shake off the rust and put up another strong finish?
