I actually expected Ness to win from a pure expectations standpoint, but picked CJ in the Oracle challenge because of risk-aversion. Too much to lose if CJ had won and you picked Ness; that would make finishing in the Top 10 difficult. Whereas you can always recover from a wrong pick that most of the leaderboard also had. And I had Ness in my bracket, so you could see that as diversifying personal payoff.
