But seriously, if I had kept up my previous prediction, it would've been 102%. But it doesn't matter. Because the rules say you absolutely CANNOT delete your post for any reason whatsoever because that's what the rules say. Makes sense. Rules are rules. You can't just go breaking arbitrary rules. Even if they're arbitrary. They're there for a reason.
This isn't arbitrary... the exact thing you did is an avenue for cheating, if we were to accept the later prediction. Like I explained before, all you would have to do is make two picks, and delete the worse one after the start of the match. Someone actually DID try to cheat this way in a previous contest.
The deadline is there because matches HAVE started early before. It hasn't happened in a while, so a year or two back we actually asked CJayC how far ahead of the match we could set our deadline. He said five minutes. The deadline used to be an hour before the expected start of the match.
