Today Metal Gear performed the way a 1 seed should against an 8 seed, manhandling Soul Calibur from wire to wire. Several people in the stats topic considered Metal Gear's performance surprising, but they should have asked us what was going to happen - the Oracle consensus was Metal Gear with 70.54%. The average score was 43.56 points.

The leaderboard continues to stabilize as we get farther into the contest. Today XxSoulxX passes Lightbearer75 for the overall lead. This is the first Oracle Challenge for both Soul and Lightbearer, but they're definitely doing well so far. Swirldude moves up one spot to third place, only a little over a point out of first. Yoshifan climbs back into fourth place after spending a day off the leaderboard. And taking the fifth place spot with a great prediction is Camden, one of the users featured in the pre-contest "10 Most Dangerous Competitors" feature. Tsunami70, who was in first two days ago, dropped down to 14th place today.
