Since you are allowed to start participating in the Oracle Challenge even after the start of the first match, I think that teams should be allowed to be created after the start of the first match if there are 2 users that want to team up.
There are two main reasons I don't do that: (1) more work for me, and (2) people could just wait until the end of the contest and then try to team up with the people at the top of the standings.
