The 2007 Summer Contest is underway, and it kicks off with a bit of a surprise! Rikku gave Knuckles a run for his money and held a lead in the early hours of the poll, giving us the closest ever first match of the contest. 169 people showed up to predict the match, an all-time Oracle record. The consensus predictions were: Knuckles the Echidna 30.32%, Rikku 21.59%, Vaan 13.50%, and Yoshi 34.62%. 134 predictors correctly had Yoshi and Knuckles ranked 1-2, while another 24 had Knuckles first and Yoshi second.
