And after seeing what the next contest is going to be, I guess treating this as a warmup is no longer prudent. I have no idea how much Tron Bonne is going to beat Dixie Kong by.

Super Smash Bros. surprised a lot of people yesterday by keeping it relatively close to Super Mario Bros. As many people pointed out, Mario did worse against Smash than Final Fantasy VII did against SSBM, which doesn't bode well for Mario next round. There were 122 Super Mario predictions while 6 rebels predicted a win for Smash.

It's interesting to see the degree to which the superteams are dominating the team competition. While there are plenty of new faces at the top of the individual standings, every team in the top 5 has at least one legitimate star, and 9/10 of the competitors have achieved some success in past Oracle contests.
