Match #43 Results:
Dante 46%
Vincent Valentine 54%
Dante performed admirably against Vincent, but couldn't manage the upset that some people hoped for. There were 70 Vincent picks and 9 Dante picks. The consensus was Vincent with 56.42% and the average score was 44.27.
Best Five Picks:
1) Seginustemple - Vincent Valentine 53.87% (+49.87)
2) ECW RVD420 - Vincent Valentine 54.23% (+49.77)
3) Duffer11 - Vincent Valentine 54.30% (+49.70)
4) ps2rulezzz - Vincent Valentine 53.55% (+49.55)
5) heroic_slb - Vincent Valentine 53.44% (+49.44)
Even though the match finished with a whole-number percentage, there were no perfect predictions today. Seginustemple had the best pick with 49.87 for his fourth top 5 of the contest. ECW RVD420 at #2, Duffer11 at #3, and heroic_slb at #5 all got their second top 5 of the contest, while ps2rulezzz at #4 got his first top 5.

Sonic Team's doing ok, but I don't buy Sonic being stronger than the juiced-up Ganon we saw tear through the Spring Contest. HOWEVER, Sonic dominates the coming match pic much moreso than Ganon did, so that should push this one nearer the doubling. I'll go with

Squall beats Knuckles comfortably, but by less than he beat Kirby last year. Is Knuckes stronger than Kirby? There were 61 picks for Squall and 17 picks for Knuckles. The consensus was Squall with 52.38% and the average was 45.02 points. As of today we're 2/3 of the way through the contest.

The Devil division leaderboard is exactly the same as yesterday, except that Xuxon has passed Rufus Shinra 18. Rodri still has a good sized lead of almost 6 points, and has an excellent chance of winning the division with one match left to go.
