I'll expend on that:
Since the current page we're using (well Kaxon mostly) is a server's nightmare (doing it for all-time takes roughly 4 minutes), I'm not releasing it to the public, it would be way too hard on the servers.
I'll try to get something working once the contest is over though (and it is likely it will only consider completed contests, since we can write that down somewhere else in the database).

Also Kaxon, AIM, now.

and I plan to make several more before it's all said and done!

No need to apologize for that actually, as long as you don't do it again =P. The thing is we're having an unusually high number of people asking about their predictions when everything's fine (i.e. we stopped updating before their post, as stated by the "last updated" line), and considering the time I spent to put that auto-updating page up so that people wouldn't have to ask about their predictions, I tend to be tired of hearing that question again, and again, and again. No hard feelings and nothing personal obviously, and if you see your prediction wasn't entered and was BEFORE the time stamp that's written, yes you should tell us as soon as possible so we can fix it...
It wasn't as much about you asking as about you being our lucky 20th contestant-to-ask-about-predictions-that-aren't-meant-to-be-there-yet and therefore winning a cookie jaaaaaaaaar!

Regarding the last updated time thing, perhaps that could be put on the main page, and in a highlighted box or something. I've read you guys mention it before but I never actually noticed it myself until today.

Anyway, this Tidus vs. Kirby match is a such a toss-up. So much conflicting logic.

For Tidus 2K2, if you set 2K2 Sonic equal to 35, Tidus ends up at 28.8. Kirby that year was at 25.54.

In 2K3, if you set Tidus~=Knuckles, he's at 26.47. Kirby is at 26.34.

In 2K4, adjusted Tidus is at 27.19 (I don't trust the unadjusted value there at all). Kirby adjusted is at 28.54.

There's a lot telling me that Kirby will win this one. Tidus has been unimpressive for a while, the characters seem to be going in opposite directions going by the logic above, Kirby lost to Squall but Tidus is probably weaker than Squall, and Kirby's got a great picture advantage. But overall the match looks like a real toss-up, so I guess I'll just go with my rooting interests and stay with my current pick. Looks like there's a good chance I'll be in 4th place tomorrow.

Erm... yes, they do. Just because you don't doesn't mean nobody does; personally, I see plenty of discussion taking place in here every- wait, why am I typing this? You'll never read it!

I could certainly see Kirby taking this one, and it would really make my day, regardless of it putting another nail in my bracket's coffin. But after all the hedging I've done in the first half of this gauntlet, just to see the cookie cutter take the match with an easy 55% again and again, I'm fed up with playing it so safe. So, go Nintendo, but I'm not throwing away another 5+ points over it. ...this time.
