Top Team Scores:
1) Team Nebuchadnezzar - 93.88 (Shivan Reincarnated: +44.52 / Jecht: +49.36)
2) Team SPFDaHBTtWHR - 92.12 (IhatethisCPU: +49.56 / XxSoulxX: +42.56)
3) Team Muffin Hacks - 86.80 (Ness26: +38.44 / Redtooth: +48.36)
4) Team Organization II - 86.21 (SuperSmash Master: +44.65 / Big Bob: +41.56)
5) Team Fodder - 82.34 (Coffee Ninja: +48.24 / Pats_Dynasty: +34.10)
Some pretty low scoring teams made the top five today, a sign of how low the average was. Team Nebuchadnezzar (Shivan Reincarnated and Jecht) had the best prediction with almost 94 points. Team Soul Predicted Falling Down a Hill Because That's the Way He Rolls appears in the top five for the second day in a row, forcing me type a lot more than usual. Team Muffin Hacks was third for the day - Redtooth had one of the day's best predictions, and that was enough to carry Ness26's 38.44 points into the top five. Team Fodder ranks fifth despite Pats_Dynasty's 34.10 points for the day.

Steve illumina drops two spots, but stays on the leaderboard in 5th place. He currently has an 8 day leaderboard streak going.
Having a perfect bracket is nice and all, but to be in the Oracle leaderboard for 8 straight days (will be 9 after MG wins) is actually something I am more proud of. The Oracle contest is not all luck, it does take skill...careful analysis of everything...and I am pleasantly surprised at how good I really am doing on it this time around.
My changed MG pick I made yesterday afternoon of 67.85% is looking DAMN GOOD right now. I should go up a spot or two or three with that!

A few things I'd like to comment:
About what somdude said, those are nice goals there. Already only on my 2nd try, I have almost done both of them. One of my predictions was .01 off of being perfect, and last year finished 22nd. Close, but not quite.
In this contest, I've been way off. 47th so far and no Top 5s still.
About NGamer, he didn't miss a single prediction on Spring and Summer 2005. He did missed two matches on Summer 2004.

Before I forget,
Resident Evil with 58%
First, about NGamer - he also missed one in 2003, and would have missed one last year had Kaxon not been very generous.
Second, to Lagoona - that is kind of funny. I actually don't even expect any of these to be close, although it wouldn't surprise me a whole lot. Your SF pick sort of surprises me after that annihilation by RE last round, though technically I hadn't picked RE yet.
For Castlevania, I would say look at Sora vs Alucard. Then think that Sora represents the whole series, or at least stars in it, while Alucard is essentially in one game. I think it's sort of obvious Halo would beat SotN pretty badly on its own, yet as a series Castlevania won 55-45.
The owning of DMC had me somewhat worried, but it was proven time and again that old, established series are doing very well. What was the one exception? Super. Smash. Brothers. I mean, compare today's match to SSB vs Dragon Quest, and tell me it ISN'T the fourth strongest series here.
Street Fighter won against TES because nobody's played TES, and Street Fighter is the default, "Oh, I've heard of that" kind of series. That isn't going to work against Resident Evil, especially after RE4.

Crap, please withdraw the Koopa Troopers team from the competition; my partner won't be able to give his guesses.
Sorry I didn't answer this yet. You can stay in the team competition even if your partner disappears - we made the scoring such that one person can try to carry the team, it's just more difficult.
