Top 5's don't mean anything? If that's what you're talking about, we've known about it for over two years....
kawaiifan + SC2k4 = who needs Top 5's exactly?

Match #41 Results
Solid Snake 57.60%
Squall Leonhart 42.40%

In a match a few thought could be an upset, Solid Snake won with ease, raising cries of "SFF" and "Snake > MM". It looks like the Noble Nine is likely intact for another year (unless Vincent can upset Sonic), but the winner of the male bracket is definitely up for debate. The consensus was Snake with 55.67% and the average score was 45.69. 108 people picked Snake to win the match and 5 took a chance on Squall.

Best Five Picks:
1) DarkLink89 - Solid Snake 57.60% (+50.00)
2) Karma Hunter - Solid Snake 57.49% (+49.89)
3) Janus5000 - Solid Snake 57.46% (+49.86)
4) Vlado - Solid Snake 57.75% (+49.85)
5) AlecTrevelyan006 - Solid Snake 58.00% (+49.60)

Today we have our 13th perfect prediction of the contest, which belongs to DarkLink89. This is his third top 5 this contest. Karma Hunter makes the second best prediction for his 2nd top five. Janus had the third best prediction for his 3rd top five, followed by Vlado in fourth and AlecTrevelyan in fifth, also both getting their 3rd top fives.

Complete Match Ranking:
http://www.oraclechallenge.com/archives.php?contest=SC2k6&type=match&match=41

Current Leaderboard:
1) Karma Hunter - 1861.81
2) cyko - 1859.65
3) DSRage - 1857.27
4) Kaxon - 1856.66
5) Rodri316 - 1852.09

The top spot trades hands again today - this time Karma Hunter uses his #2 prediction to retake the lead from cyko. The rest of the leaderboard remains unchanged, with DSRage in third, Kaxon in fourth, and Rodri a few points back in fifth.

Full Standings:
http://www.oraclechallenge.com/archives.php?contest=SC2k6&type=total&match=41

Top Team Scores:
1) Team Unfinished FFP - 98.54 (Ed Bellis: +48.65 / Karma Hunter: +49.89)
2) Team Battle with Gilgamesh > JENOVA - 98.26 (Janus5000: +49.86 / KleenexTissue50: +48.40)
3) Team Shemale Shanty - 96.89 (Applekidjosh: +48.74 / Brakmaster: +48.15)
4) Team Go Go Gadget Copter! - 95.69 (Ness26: +46.62 / Redtooth: +49.07)
5) Team Robo Chocobo Remix - 95.67 (Inviso: +45.82 / Vlado: +49.85)

Team Unfinished FFP breaks out of their recent slump with a great day, scoring the best team score of the day. Team Battle With Gilgamesh > JENOVA gets second for the day, also with a score over 98 points. Team Shemale Shanty is still at their comeback, and they passed Team Illusion of Xenosaga today - sadly, that's because Team Illusion of Xenosaga didn't make any predictions, meaning Josh and Brak are still the lowest ranked team to predict all the matches. Tough luck, but keep at it! Team Go Go Gadget Copter! (Ness26 and Redtooth) gets fourth and Team Robo Chocobo Remix gets fifth.

Complete Team Match Ranking:
http://www.oraclechallenge.com/archives.php?contest=SC2k6&type=teammatch&match=41

Team Leaderboard:
1) Team Unfinished FFP (Ed Bellis / Karma Hunter) - 3702.98
2) Team The Spirit of Truth (Draco1214 / Rodri316) - 3700.48
3) Team We Used To Be Good? (Kaxon / King Morgoth) - 3696.60
4) Team Romanian Potato Soup (The n00b Avenger / GrapefruitKing) - 3678.33
5) Team mvp's (ps2rulezzz / basmeyer42) - 3676.52

Team Unfinished FFP retakes the lead from Team The Spirit of Truth (mirroring Karma Hunter's position in the individual standings). Team We Used To Be Good? is still hanging around in third place. 18 points below them, Team Romanian Potato Soup switches places with Team mvp's yet again, moving back into fourth.

I'm not sure how difficult this would be to do... and if I'm the only one who has any interest, you can just not worry about it...

I think it would be cool if there was something like a "Today's Picks" page, where you could see everyone's most recent picks without going to everyone's individual page.

I'd like to just drop the list into my Excel sheet so I can watch the results unfold... but if I'm the only one, then it's not a big deal.

Match #42 Results
Dante 49.45%
Yoshi 50.55%

Another debateable match, another Nintendo win... Ganondorf must be feeling pretty lonely about now. Yoshi manages to pull the upset against Dante, resulting in celebration and mass LUEshis for some, bracket and Oracle devastation for others. 64 Oracles had Dante winning the match, while 50 backed the green dinosaur. The consensus was Dante with 50.90% and the average score was 44.42.

Best Five Picks:
1) basmeyer42 - Yoshi 50.56% (+49.99)
2) and now I dance - Yoshi 50.60% (+49.95)
2) BlAcK TuRtLe - Yoshi 50.50% (+49.95)
2) raytan7585 - Yoshi 50.60% (+49.95)
2) StopPokingMe - Yoshi 50.50% (+49.95)

The mysterious basmeyer42 gets today's best prediction with 49.99 points. Behind him, we have a four way tie for second between and now I dance, Black Turtle, raytan, and StopPokingMe. This is the second top five of the contest for everyone except raytan, who's getting his first. This is also StopPokingMe's 26th lifetime top 5.

Complete Match Ranking:
http://www.oraclechallenge.com/archives.php?contest=SC2k6&type=match&match=42

Current Leaderboard:
1) cyko - 1909.50
2) Karma Hunter - 1903.02
3) DSRage - 1899.60
4) Kaxon - 1898.61
5) Aprosenf - 1891.49

Cyko's boldness in taking Yoshi pays off, allowing him to reclaim first today by a comfortable 6 point margin. Despite only cyko picking Yoshi, our indestructable top 4 remained intact - cyko, Karma Hunter, DSRage, and Kaxon have been together in the top 5 for the last 21 days, and they've been the top 4 for 16 of those days, making it pretty hard for anyone else to break on to the leaderboard. Aprosenf moves up to fifth today, returning to the leaderboard for the first time since Sonic vs CATS. Outside the top 5, the standings got shaken up quite a bit today, and the race is very close - there's a 7.12 point gap between 4th and 5th, but only 3.09 points separate 5th from 11th.

Top Team Scores:
1) Team Klonoa Alliance - 99.65 (raytan7585: +49.95 / amyvitality66: +49.70)
2) Team mvp's - 99.49 (ps2rulezzz: +49.50 / basmeyer42: +49.99)
3) Team Better Than Last Time - 99.23 (Darkash: +49.51 / Heroic Viktor: +49.72)
4) Team Rocket - 97.89 (Ringworm: +48.45 / BZer0: +49.44)
5) Team The Returners - 94.85 (cyko: +49.85 / steve illumina: +45.00)

Team Klonoa Alliance is looking like one of the hottest teams in the contest right now, with three top 5's in the last week. They're closely followed by Team mvp's in second. This time we have three team scoring over 99 for the day - Team Better Than Last Time (Tnote and Darkash) manages it in third place as well. Team Rocket (Ringworm and BZer0) get fourth, and The Returners place fifth.

Complete Team Match Ranking:
http://www.oraclechallenge.com/archives.php?contest=SC2k6&type=teammatch&match=42

Team Leaderboard:
1) Team Unfinished FFP (Ed Bellis / Karma Hunter) - 3787.89
2) Team We Used To Be Good? (Kaxon / King Morgoth) - 3786.99
3) Team The Spirit of Truth (Draco1214 / Rodri316) - 3777.93
4) Team mvp's (ps2rulezzz / basmeyer42) - 3776.01
5) Team Accident (MegatokyoEd / Rufus Shinra 18) - 3767.49

The 20 point gap between third and fourth has finally evaporated, and it only took a day to happen! Team Unfinished FFP hangs on to first place, but is tailed by Team We Used To Be Good? (0.9 points behind). Team The Spirit of Truth drops back almost ten points, hanging on to third, but losing their safety margin as Team mvp's has a great day. Team Accident returns to the leaderboard, continuing the game of musical chairs for the #5 spot.
