Match #22 Results
Gordon Freeman 58.20%
Phoenix Wright 41.80%

Somehow, the universe and the Oracle Challenge manage to (narrowly) survive Gordon Freeman's victory, so let's get on with the results! Gordon continued his tradition of matches that are closer than 60-40, and Phoenix impressed many doubters in the early hours of the poll, before struggling later in the day. There was a stampede of changes to Gordon the night before the poll, so the most divided match we've had in a while was still well in Gordon's favor. 105 people picked Gordon to win and 32 backed Phoenix. The consensus was Gordon with 57.15% and the average score was 43.54.

Best Five Picks:
1) Ayvuir - Gordon Freeman 58.29% (+49.91)
1) ActJef1077 - Gordon Freeman 58.29% (+49.91)
3) alpha door - Gordon Freeman 58.47% (+49.73)
4) Salient - Gordon Freeman 58.50% (+49.70)
5) Karma Hunter - Gordon Freeman 58.53% (+49.67)

Today we have a tie for the top spot, between Ayvuir and ActJef1077! This is Ayvuir's second top 5 of the contest and ActJef's third... and they both had one top 5 prior to this contest. Alpha door takes third place, followed by Salient. Karma Hunter, who up until now has mostly been visible in the team contest, gets his first individual top 5.

Current Leaderboard:
1) DSRage - 1019.15
2) cyko - 1017.23
3) Kaxon - 1009.97
4) Aprosenf - 1009.30
5) Karma Hunter - 1008.11

DSRage hangs on to first place for the sixth straight day today, which brings him just one day away from tying the 10th longest streak for days in first (along with Samberdog from 2k3, pikaness from this contest, and King Morgoth's 3rd longest streak, from Sp2k4.) Meanwhile, cyko narrows the gap a little, pulling within two points of DSRage. Kaxon moves up to third, bumping Aprosenf down to fourth, and Karma Hunter moves onto the leaderboard for the first time in his Oracle career in fifth.
