I've never understood this 'Ness is Falcon's ceiling' talk. F-Zero X was a multiplayer favorite on the N64, GX is a great game and got praised up and down, Falcon Puuuuunch has made CF a favorite of casuals in both Melee and the original, and he has a 'cool factor' that no boy in a baseball cap could top. In addition, I think it's only a matter of time before Crono follows the lead of Magus and Frog and disappoints his believers big time.
