Most brackets were people who did not read the rules and pretended Knux/Rikku and Vaan/Yoshi were separate matchups.

Or, didn't realize order mattered, and since Knuckles was first on the list, picked him first.
I made both these mistakes first time I filled the bracket. Wasn't until I read the board that I figured out what was going on. Anybody who didn't read the instructions was highly likely to mess something up, and I think it would certainly be a minority that read the instructions.
