Same here, but that was irrelevant to me. I'm gunning for sixth, and the best way to get there right now is to stay conservative and hope some people make some bad predictions, or to jump to the underdog in the finals.

My goal for this last matches is to get to the Top 25...since Top 20 is pushing it. I went as low as the 50s in some point of Round 1, and I have been slowly climbing up, and that last match made me jump five more spots, to get to the 28th. I think my comeback has been pretty good, but with a good Round 1 (which was just bad for me because all I did was to undershoot) we'd be fighting for the Top in teams and me looking for a Top 15 at least. It's been fun anyhow.

Wow... great call there Seginus!

Anyhow, regretting what I wanted to put for MG (though I still did decent) and this bad mario call... that's the final nail in keeping me out of the top 10 I think, its all down hill from here =P

If you assume no SFF, this result is easy to see coming. Set Sonic = Mega Man and Mario gets 40% on FF, and it's something just under 62%. Then a bit higher because there's a good chance Mega Man is slightly stronger than Sonic and/or Mario gets a little more than 40%.

Unfortunately, I figured just about anything could happen, and so raised my pick from 63% because everyone else went so high.

Match #26 Results
Metal Gear 58.31%
Kingdom Hearts 41.69%

Things return to predictability today, as Metal Gear scores a solid win over Kingdom Hearts. The most exciting part of the match was probably Castlevania sneaking into the poll for the first few minutes. Sadly, Ceej put a stop to Alucard's plan... for now. 118 people picked Metal Gear to win and 8 picked Kingdom Hearts. The consensus was Metal Gear with 56.97% and the average score was 46.43 points.

Best Five Picks:
1) hero of time 43 - Metal Gear 58.32% (+49.99)
2) supdawg - Metal Gear 58.35% (+49.96)
3) meche313 - Metal Gear 58.41% (+49.90)
4) devilnightvamp - Metal Gear 58.46% (+49.85)
5) MegatokyoEd - Metal Gear 58.48% (+49.83)

Hero of time 43 is on top today with a near-perfect prediction, 49.99 points. It's his first top five prediction ever. Supdawg takes second, also with an extremely good 49.96 point prediction. This is his first top 5 as well. Meche313 of the Happy Happyists takes third, followed by devilnightvamp and MegatokyoEd, for an extremely high scoring top 5.

Current Leaderboard:
1) Xuxon - 1166.15
2) Ness26 - 1165.55
3) TheKnightOfNee - 1164.08
4) Z1mZum - 1163.15
5) lol_internet - 1160.53

Sound the repeat alarm!! Xuxon has taken the lead with only five matches to go in the contest. We'll see if he can make Oracle History this week. Ness26 remains in second as the people around him jump all over the place. TheKnightOfNee moves back up one spot to third, and is only a little over 2 points out of first. Z1mZum drops out of the lead down to fourth, but is also still close behind. lol_internet climbs on to the leaderboard in fifth, bumping alpha door.
