Well, today's match will be the first low scoring match in quite a while. I'm probably expecting an average between 44 and 45 points.
1) Most impressive character so far?
Altair
2) Your biggest deception so far?
Scorpion. He almost lost to Gordon Freeman.
3) Anything can stop L this year?
L-Block won't go down in round 2, because as we've seen so far, L-Block has always managed to defeat the same character he lost in the last round. Losing to Kirby in round 1, defeating Kirby in round 2. Losing to Kratos in round 2, defeating Kratos in round 3. Same goes with Snake in round 3 and 4. If there is any fourpack that can stop L-Block, it will be in round 4 with the Samus/Vincent/Crono/L-Block match. Round 3 will be easy for L-Block as it's most likely going to be Crono/L-Block/Pikachu/Alucard.
4) Do you think L could actually hold his own next year in a 1on1 setting?
Yes, but it will mostly depend on seed placement. Give L-Block a 7 or 8 seed, and he's up against powerful competition in the first round that will probably destroy him. A 1 or 2 seed for L-Block gives him the best chance of going far in a 1-on-1 setting.
5) Mandatory Oracle question: Easier or tougher than last year to predict?
Easier, because I have last year's matches to use as a reference point in deciding on my predictions. Right now, my overall average is slightly better than the overall average I had for last year's contest.
