For a poll that was thought to be so potentially unpredictable, there weren't too many surprises on the first day of the Battle Royale. Link won easily, as expected, and Cloud beat out everyone else by an even larger margin. The biggest surprise was probably how poorly Mario did, finishing below both Sephiroth and Solid Snake. We'll have to see if Samus's elimination benefits him enough to keep him alive on day 2.

MegatokyoEd picks up where he left off, with the highest average score - but this time he hasn't missed a match and gets to rank first in the standings as well. Karma Hunter is back for another round in second place. PeaceOut64, off his 0.01 point leaderboard miss, ranks third on the first day. Heroic Viktor places fourth, and yoblazer is fifth.
