Bah, I had 57% at first due to thinking Ryu was significantly overrated by Bowser (like, around Vivi), but then I thought "Ryu can't be that weak compared to earlier..." Oh well. Maybe he isn't and Kratos just boosted more than I thought.

A Mega Man match! The Blue Bomber is my favorite contest regular (Crono is pretty close, but most of the time I like MM a little better). I really wish we had seen him face Tingle this year... it's been too long since he's put up a monstrous performance, and I don't think he's going to do it against Axel.

Good thing I didn't leave my pick at 90 *whew*. I don't know what happened to me, I was so close to the top, and then I made like 3 or 4 terrible picks in a row. Thankfully I made a sane choice today, and it looks like I'll slip back into the top 5 by a hair, but I've got lots of ground to make up to get back to the top.

If you extrapolate Mega Man through Ganondorf against pre-KH2 Ansem, even assuming Ganon didn't get SFFed by Samus, Mega still doesn't break 78%. That alone told me the predictions were too high.

Yesterday's match was a battle between an old time arcade star and a new PS2 character. Ryu managed to win comfortably, but Kratos made it respectable with one of the biggest day votes we've seen in a while. The consensus was Ryu with 61.12% and the average score was 44.83. There were 132 picks for Ryu and 3 for Kratos. Surprisingly, no one picked Strider Hiryu, the actual winner of the match who was later disqualified by the judges.
