But at least I called you winning this thing

Whoa there, you talking about me? There is a looong way to go here :) And the most volatile parts are coming later, since in later matches it's tougher to predict the winner, and the picking the loser penalties can hurt you more often. I'd say that I have less than a 30% shot at actually finishing #1.

I am not arguing with creative ever again

I guess you're talking about the Terra and Kerrigan matches. I was definitely a lot more confident in Kerrigan being a joke than in Terra being really weak. But I actually don't recall ever arguing with you about either? Anyway, the main thing to get out of this is not so much about me (well, except when I say "trust me"...I knew that Kerrigan would struggle to get 30%, though it turned out to be 20%), but that you should never doubt Final Fantasy VII.

Remember, the main thing that even got people on the contest leaderboard in 2K3 was blind FF7 fanboyism.

People always like to make jokes about random characters from FF7 being strong, and then others dismiss them. But those are far more true I think that most realize. "Random Shinra Soldier" probably would be above most of the fodder. I mean, just look at the board hype for Kerrigan. I can pretty much guarantee you that Rufus Shinra—who is rarely mentioned for nominations—would trash Kerrigan. If you are of any prominence in FF7, pretty much everyone at this site is going to know about you. That is no joke.
