Final Fantasy 7 wins with 60.10 of the vote!
And direct results tell me
Sephiroth (2005c raw) VS Mario (2005c raw)
Sephiroth wins with 56.06 of the vote!
But Nintendo has been way up since '04, Mario has benefited the most, New Mario Bros should have helped him even more since last summer, and I feel that Mario's wide cross-console cross-genre appeal means that the Series gets a bigger boost moving up from Mario 3 than FF gets moving up from FF7. Plus, the '05 Champ looks fannnntastic in tomorrow's match pic, and history has shown that something always comes up to trip up attempts at a Perfect bracket.
That being said... can't convince myself to pick against Final Fantasy just yet.
