If Sub-Zero wins, King Morgoth grabs first place. If Master chief wins with less than 51%(approx), KH steals the lead. If MC gets above 51%(approx), DSRage retains his top spot.

I'm sure KM is kicking himself now.

KM is going to go crazy when he gets back. A change that will cost him 14 points and a spot very close to being in the lead.
I'd be leading actually...

You see that KM? Here I am giving great "be a man" advice, and you throw it out with the bathwater! I certainly hope you learn your lesson from this result.

I don't know what to say really...
Can't even find a loophole to throw that change away, really. Well I could delete my post but we all know where it will end...

I didn't think that one last change out, didn't have time, really. And I just had a really awful day, so that sums it up...

I'm not even sure I'll even try predicting Round 2 at this point... I really hate myself for being this stupid, there's no way in hell I can win this anymore...

Actually, I think that projection didn't account for changes made in the 4-5 hours before the match.

That projection accounts for all the predictions - a lot of people went high with Master Chief, so he'll still be in seventh.

I'm not even sure I'll even try predicting Round 2 at this point... I really hate myself for being this stupid, there's no way in hell I can win this anymore...

Dude, you're in seventh place! Of course you can win!

Had a fight with my gf so I stopped at work on the way back to make my change before getting there, wasn't really in a hurry see? So I made a dumbass change as I was kinda pissed and didn't think it out. In retrospect I didn't realize it but I would have missed the deadline had I not done that....I let real life interfere with the Oracle Challenge, and that's unacceptable =P

Actually, I think that projection didn't account for changes made in the 4-5 hours before the match.

That projection is accurate, had I not been an idiot I'd be leading...

So yeah, if I listen to myself and make very ugly calls I can live with that, but going against my guts and getting burned, I just really hate it...

Hey, I'll be pretty mad for 2-3 days so as long as Kaxon keeps kicking my ass to stay in this you can all just stop predicting as you won't be winning at the end =P

I hate to correct the host, but you wouldn't quite be leading. You're 7.88 points behind Karma Hunter, who has MC with 52.38. So you'd get 5 + 2.38 = 7.38 points more in this match, and only be half a point behind him.

Heh. I hate to be this optimistic, but I'm still pulling for a Master Chief victory. That'd only be a loss of not even 4 points if it happened!

The match has followed Frog/Chief so closely it's scary, and if anyone can pull off a 4000 vote comeback, it's Master Chief.

I know it's not that likely, but I can't help but think it's more likely than people are giving it credit for...

And then I see everyone picking MC with 58% so I change it to a low 53% for MC and I'm regretting it every second I think about it.

Match #32 Results
Master Chief 49.05%
Sub-Zero 50.95%

In the surprise of the contest so far, Sub-Zero manages to defeat Master Chief and advance to round 2. Only 6 people out of 126 correctly predicted Sub-Zero winning the match, which makes it the fourth most difficult match to predict in Oracle history. The consensus was Master Chief with 58.16% and the average score was 36.09 points.

Best Five Picks:
1) Ringworm - Sub-Zero 51.23% (+49.72)
2) transience - Sub-Zero 51.24% (+49.71)
3) CaptainFlufflez - Sub-Zero 51.43% (+49.52)
4) King_Zog - Sub-Zero 50.22% (+49.27)
5) yoshifan823 - Sub-Zero 50.01% (+49.06)

Today's top predictor is Ringworm! Ringworm is no stranger to top five picks as he's racked up 30 of them in his career, currently ranking him second behind only Rodri. Transience gets the second best prediction, making the top five for the first time this contest despite his strong overall score. CaptainFlufflez had the third best pick and King_Zog was fourth best, each getting their third top five of the contest. Yoshifan had the fifth pick, for his second top five of the contest. IhatethisCPU was the one other Sub-Zero picker, who failed to make the top five.

Complete Match Ranking:
http://www.oraclechallenge.com/archives.php?contest=SC2k6&type=match&match=32

Current Leaderboard:
1) Karma Hunter - 1459.30
2) DSRage - 1458.47
3) cyko - 1455.94
4) Draco1214 - 1455.36
5) Kaxon - 1452.20

For the first time in ages, we have a shakeup on the leaderboard! Karma Hunter catapults to first, ending DSRage's 15 day run. DSRage drops down to second and cyko falls to third. Draco moves up one spot, passing Kaxon. There's currently an almost 6 point gap separating the top 5 from transience in sixth place, who jumped 17 spots yesterday by picking Sub-Zero.

Top Team Scores:
1) Team Indie Cred - 87.60 (the icon ownz all: +37.89 / transience: +49.71)
2) Team Rocket - 87.12 (Ringworm: +49.72 / BZer0: +37.40)
3) Team Lions on a Plane - 86.95 (yoshifan823: +49.06 / RX7InfinitiIII: +37.89)
4) Team Jonflufflez - 83.58 (CaptainFlufflez: +49.52 / jonthomson: +34.06)
5) Team Coinflip - 83.10 (red sox 777: +42.05 / Menji76: +41.05)

Team Indie Cred gets the top score for the day, but considering that they accomplished it with tranny picking Sub-Zero and icon not making a prediction at all, I'd say they maintain their indie cred this time. Team Rocket (but not Elite) gets second thanks to Ringworm's top pick. Team Lions on a Plane also makes the top five despite one of its members being absent - yoshifan's prediction was enough to carry them to victory. Team Jonflufflez (CaptainFlufflez and jonthomson) gets fourth, and Team Coinflip gets fifth despite neither member picking Sub-Zero.

Complete Team Match Ranking:
http://www.oraclechallenge.com/archives.php?contest=SC2k6&type=teammatch&match=32

Team Leaderboard:
1) Team The Spirit of Truth (Draco1214 / Rodri316) - 2901.08
2) Team Unfinished FFP (Ed Bellis / Karma Hunter) - 2898.64
3) Team We Used To Be Good? (Kaxon / King Morgoth) - 2897.12
4) Team Rage of Warcraft (War13104 / DSRage) - 2884.45
5) Team Romanian Potato Soup (The n00b Avenger / GrapefruitKing) - 2876.90

Team The Spirit of Truth retakes the lead today! It's a close race at the top, as Team Unfinished FFP trails by less than two and a half points. Today was a tough day for the Oracle hosts, as their team falls out of first place with a combined score of less than 70 - however, they're still in third overall and within striking distance of the lead. Team Rage of Warcraft remains in fourth place today, and Team Romanian Potato Soup returns to fifth, continuing their pattern of alternating between fifth and sixth every day.

Well, personally I was thinking that RE had been looking good, between Leon's match against Bowser and Ada's match against Jade. I did consider Samus's matches against Lara and Sam a little bit, but those two matches were the only surprising blowouts she's had, when she performed worse than I'd have expected against Yuri and Nidoran F. She scored right around 70% against Frog and KOS-MOS, and I was thinking that if RE4 was as big as Leon made it look, Ada might be close to their level. In retrospect that probably was foolish, but I don't think it was totally ridiculous.
